Gene Pranger, CEO
Gene Pranger has over 24 years of experience in working with Financial Institutions to develop smarter branches. After earning his Master's in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University he was recruited by Campbell-Mithun and then BBDO Advertising Agencies in Minneapolis, MN. Gene founded Gene Pranger—Creating Smarter Branches in 1995. Since that time he has designed over 400 branch applications, authored a book entitled "Affinity Retail Marketing", and invented the uGenius Personal Teller System. |

Jed Taylor, President/COO
Jed joined uGenius in the spring of 2007 and led the uGenius team to achieve a successful national launch of the uGenius Personal Teller System in the fall of 2007. In his role he is responsible for product management, engineering, manufacturing and customer support.
Jed joined uGenius after having worked in multiple positions with international responsibilities at NCR Corp. He was the global software product manager for NCR's advanced ATM software and held other global engineering management and professional services roles at NCR. Taylor has a B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. |

Karen Connor, Vice President of Sales
Karen Connor has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her background includes sales, account management, training and implementation. She has worked for a variety of organizations including Fiserv, Metavante, Sheshunoff, Carreker, Pegasystems, Sterling Software and Mellon Bank selling software, hardware, consulting and data processing services. Karen earned her B.A. degree from Boston College and her Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. |

Travis LaFleur, Vice President of Engineering
Travis LaFleur joined uGenius in 2010, and brings to the company over 14 years of experience in product development, software engineering and business management experience. He is an evangelist of Agile Development Methodologies and Processes. Prior to uGenius, Travis was Director of Development at inContact, Inc. He was one of the senior developers and architects to the core inContact Products. He played a key role in growing the R&D Department from 5 to 80+ consisting of Developers, Analysts, QA Engineers, and Program Managers.
He holds a degree in Management Information Systems from BYU, Idaho .

Kurt Forsberg, Director of Client Services
Kurt Forsberg is responsible for all Client Services at uGenius. He manages the technical support, professional services, and project management departments. Kurt joined uGenius with 14 years of experience in information technology. Kurt has been working in the financial industry for the past 7 years. Before becoming part of the uGenius team, Kurt was the Director of Information technology for a Utah-based Credit Union. Prior to that, Kurt managed the team responsible for all retail store information technology systems at Franklin Covey. Kurt brings a fresh perspective and skill set that helps match technology solutions to client needs. He promotes and fosters success in uGenius teams and client relationships.
Kurt has a B.S degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. |

Joseph Ward, Director of Creative Services
Joseph joined uGenius in the spring of 2004 and has lead the creative services team ever since. He has been an integral part in the concept development and evolution of such products as the uGenius Personal Teller Machine kiosk, uGenius SmartOFFICE, TellerPrompter and uGenius SmartBRANCH solutions. Joseph has expertise in retail, graphic, and product design and marketing.
He holds a BFA degree in Industrial Design from Brigham Young University, Provo. |
